Narcissism Self‑Test
About this test
- scenario/attitude questions will be presented at random.
- We screen across grandiosity, admiration seeking, entitlement/specialness, sensitivity to criticism, and interpersonal empathy/humility (with reverse‑scored items).
- Some items use reverse scoring and shuffled answer positions to reduce response bias.
What is the Narcissism Self‑Test?
This quick, browser‑based check looks at tendencies related to self‑importance, admiration seeking, entitlement/specialness, sensitivity to criticism, and the balance of empathy and humility. It is not a clinical diagnosis.
Structure
- Each session randomly presents items from a larger pool.
- Reverse‑scored items are included: answering in favor of empathy, humility, and self‑reflection lowers your score.
- Your answers are stored only in your browser session and are not sent to a server.
Scoring
- Responses are scored 0–4 and summed, then interpreted as a percentage of the maximum.
- Results are shown in four levels: Low, Average, High, and Very High, with keywords and quick guidance.
Note
- High scores do not by themselves indicate a personality disorder; context matters.
- If these patterns are causing significant difficulties, consider professional advice.
